Tina Davis, Nearly 40, Reportedly Cause of Brawl Between Chris Brown and Rihanna

The mess with Chris Brown and Rihanna keeps getting more sordid by the day. So, it seems like his manager, Tina Davis has a thing for teenage boys, or maybe she sees dollar signs for this one because he’s rich. In any case, if these rumors are true, then she should be ashamed of herself. Apparently, Ms. Davis, who turns 40 this month, sent Brown the notorious three-page text that “talked about hooking up later,” celebrity news site TMZ.com reported, citing unnamed sources. A police affidavit says only that the text came from “a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.” An industry source described the message as a “booty call.”

Brown and Davis shot down earlier reports of a two-year sexual liaison back in November 2007, telling Vibe magazine their relationship was “strictly professional.” So, where was Chris Brown’s mother? Last time I checked Usher’s mom was his manager for the longest and so was Bow Wow’s mom.

Kids’ TV network Nickelodeon said that it has no plans to remove Brown as a nominee for its annual Kids’ Choice Awards, airing March 28. An online petition asking Nickelodeon to remove Brown and Rihanna as nominees had 2,166 signatures yesterday. Nick says Brown was nominated for his work as a performer, and kids will decide who wins. Chris Brown should be removed, no matter what the outcome of his case is. He is no role model for any young person out there.

He could have just walked away from this woman and not beaten her up. This is not just a “situation.” It is to be treated as a serious occurrence and should never be excused. He did it once and he will do it again. We’ll hear about Chris Brown and Rihanna in the news again after this blows over. She needs to run away from this man. As Oprah rightly says, love does not hurt. Rihanna, you can do better than this. To Tina Davis, girl, find your own man and leave that young man alone.

Davon Crawford has reportedly committed suicide. The punk took the easy way out. This monster could have ended his own life yesterday instead of taking the lives of others.

Davon Crawford, 33, is wanted for allegedly murdering his wife, Lechea Crawford, sister-in-law Rose Stevens and her three children — Destiny Woods, 4; and 2-year-old twins Dion and Davion Primm — in their home on Cleveland’s west side. This has been billed as one of the worst shooting deaths in Cleveland in recent years.

The children, aged 3 to 14, were found Thursday night in various rooms of a two-family home on Cleveland’s west side, police said. A fifth child was wounded and being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Susan Christopher told The Plain Dealer. Police said there were two rental units in the house, and all the victims were killed in the upstairs apartment, where they lived.

Outside the home, a man at a police blockade said he recognized Crawford from a police photo shown on television as the man who recently married his daughter. He said she lived on the street with her three children and with another of his daughters and that woman’s twins.”They told me both my daughters and my grandchildren are dead,” said the man, Lamar Arnold, although it was not clear who had told him. “I don’t want to talk about it; I just want to go to my grandson now. I want to see how he is, and that’s all I care about now.”He said his newly married daughter had sent him an unusual cell phone text message at 7:47 p.m. saying “Call me, live your life, love it.””Then I tried to call her about 12 times, and there never was an answer,” he said. This is a case of domestic violence gone terribly wrong and is further proof that Chris Brown should not walk away from beating Rihanna with a slap on the wrist. This is serious. What happened to this woman, her sister and her children was uncalled for and unwarranted. Nobody deserves this. So, if you have seen this scumbag, Devon Crawford, don’t hesitate to call the authorities. He needs to be incarcerated and punished to the fullest extent of the law. If he is found guilty, a life sentence should be taken off the table. Well, since he has a criminal record, he just sealed his fate, in the event he is found guilty. He reportedly told someone he had failed a drug test and was likely going to be sent back to jail or prison. Still, that doesn’t mean one should get so violent.

Chris Brown Charged with Two Felonies in Attack on Girlfriend Rihanna Last Month

Domestic violence is nothing to take lightly and I am glad that Chris Brown, despite Rihanna’s possible reluctance, will have to face the music. The L.A. District Attorney’s office announced Thursday that Brown was being charged with two felonies – assault and making criminal threats – in the alleged beating of Rihanna last month. Even though the couple seem to have reconciled, the case will not go away. It is proceeding.

If convicted, Brown faces anywhere from probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said. Brown is expected to enter a plea in court Thursday. He is required to appear in person.

The formal charges have come almost a month after the couple argued early the morning of Feb. 8, just hours before they were both scheduled to perform at the Grammys. According to People Magazine, police notes from the scene, which FOX 11 in L.A. claims it obtained, reportedly say Brown punched, bloodied and threatened to kill his girlfriend. Later that day, Brown turned himself into police and was booked for making criminal threats, a felony.

I have never said this, but I have lived in a marriage that had bouts of verbal abuse, which is just as bad as hitting someone in the face. You go through a period of denial and blaming yourself for everything that has gone wrong. Yes, I know all too well what this does to your whole being. It changes you and shakes you to the core of your being. I hope both young people will get the help they need. I am reminded of the struggles Tina Turner faced in her life and how she decided to run for her life one day. That day was the defining moment in her life. As you can see, she has never looked back. Her best years were to come and they did. To all my sisters who are in abusive relationships, you are not alone.

Harvey Levin’s TMZ Gets Picture of Battered Rihanna Leaked by a Scumbag in the LAPD

I will not directly post the picture of a battered Rihanna. I am appalled that Harvey Levin would allow his site to publish such a horrific picture of the singer. The young lady deserves some privacy and some respect. I am no fan of hers, but I am a woman and I am disturbed at the fact that someone in the Los Angeles Police Department may have broken the law in passing this picture to TMZ. The reason behind such careless actions by TMZ is purely for selfish reasons — sensationalism. If every victim of domestic violence sees their battered face being aired all over the place, it could potentially cause many victims not to even bother reporting these crimes. What was done to this woman was unconscionable and she deserves privacy and our respect of that right.

To Chris Brown, you are travelling down a dangerous path. If this picture was not doctored, you deserve to be in prison for what you did to this woman. There was no reason for you to do this and there can never be any justification whatsoever. Where are his parents? Why did they allow him to run around like a grown man, on his own and doing whatever he pleased. There was obviously no guidance from either Rihanna’s or Chris Brown’s parents. He could have just walked away. No one likes a man who beats a woman. Come on. Chris, remember Ike Turner? After he repeatedly beat Tina Turner, guess who rose and who was relegated to the life of a “has-been” and a pariah? Ike Turner. He never, ever regained the respect of the music industry.

Rihanna Reportedly Cooperating with Authorities in Investigation Over Allegedly Assault by Boyfriend Chris Brown

Robyn Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, is reportedly cooperating with police in the investigation in the horrific assault she reportedly suffered at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown. More details are slowly emerging about the alleged assault, including reports from TMZ that unnamed law enforcement sources described Rihanna’s injuries as “horrific.” Photos of the wounds reportedly show major contusions on both sides of the 20-year-old singer’s face, with serious swelling and bruising, including a split lip and a bloody nose, as well as bite marks on one of her arms and several fingers.

TMZ also reported that Rihanna initially refused treatment at the scene, but allowed police to take photos of her injuries before being transported to the hospital. The Los Angeles Police Department, citing rules to protect the victims of domestic violence, would not confirm that Rihanna was the victim in the case, but she has been named by a number of media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, which broke with its editorial policy because of what it described as the high-profile nature of the case, according to HuffingtonPost.com.

Radar Online reported that an unnamed eyewitness saw Rihanna being treated for injuries at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday.

“Rihanna was brought through the back entrance on a gurney, flanked by two LAPD officers,” the source said. “It was impossible to know it was her at first because when they wheeled her past me, she had the hood on her fuchsia-colored sweatshirt tightly drawn round her face and she was wearing big brown sunglasses. … I knew the person was famous because of all the attention she was being given by security and medical staff.”

The witness said the curtain was not drawn the entire time and they were able to confirm that it was Rihanna and that she was interviewed by police for nearly an hour. “Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming,” the eyewitness said. “Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something; she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get to put her point across.”

Brown reportedly fled the scene of the incident on foot with the keys to the rented silver Lamborghini the couple was driving in following the alleged attack, leaving Rihanna “beaten really badly and hysterical” by the side of the road, a source told E! Online. “Rihanna didn’t want anyone to touch her, she was in so much pain,” the source said. A member of the 20-year-old’s “inner circle” told E! that Rihanna’s family is making plans to get her out of Los Angeles. “They want to get her back to Barbados. They want to keep her away from Chris right now.”

Brown was booked on felony criminal threats on Sunday and released on $50,000 bail. He could reportedly face additional domestic-violence counts should the district attorney decide to press charges; the D.A.’s office has not yet received the case for review. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 5.

Domestic violence is a serious problem that shows no signs of ever abating. It is my hope that this young lady will not resist assisting in the investigation. Chris Brown, if he is proven guilty of this horrific charge, needs to be punished for what he did. There is no reason for a man to raise his hand to strike a woman. I don’t care what his background is, it is just wrong and criminal. What is sad is that these two people are so young and this type of violence is startling. There are so many other faceless victims whose cases fly under the radar.

Did Chris Brown Assault Rihanna Last Night? Investigation Ongoing

UPDATE — According to TMZ, Chris Brown has turned himself into the LAPD. It’s on now. Chris Brown has been arrested one count of felony criminal threat. His bail has been set at $50,000 — no word if he’s paid it yet. Still developing.

It turns out that the victim is listed as Robyn Fenty, Rihanna’s real name.

Well, this is a hot drama night. According to E!, Chris Brown is under investigation for assaulting a female in the wee hours of Sunday morning. As you know, the Grammy Awards will start at 8:00 pm tonight. Chris Brown has withdrawn and will not perform tonight. Rihanna is also noticeably absent from the red carpet. Ryan Seacrest on E! pre-Grammy show said that the female in this altercation and subsequent assault was hurt and had bruises. Now, let’s see if Rihanna is the person who was assaulted by Chris Brown.

If these allegations prove to be true, Chris Brown will join a long list of women beaters who end up as social pariahs and rightly so. I won’t say anymore until I see how this case plays out and if Rihanna’s publicist admits that she was beaten by this young man.
