Fellow Atlantans, it seems that former radio personality Porsche Foxx is one of two people arson investigators want to question in connection with a suspicious fire that damaged three townhomes this morning in south Fulton County.
According to WSB-TV, the fire started in the Mallory Park Townhomes in the 100 block of Bagby Court in Union City about 2:30 a.m. One unit was destroyed and two others suffered heavy damage. One resident suffered second-degree burns.
Mary Matthews, the mother of Tony Matthews, was the woman burned in the fire and told neighbors Foxx set the fire. A condo resident told WSB-TV that Mary Matthews knocked on her door and said “That woman set the fire,” referring to Foxx.
As you will recall, in November Foxx was fired from radio station V-103 for the second time in four years. She was a popular afternoon emcee at V-103 until the station fired her after a very public DUI arrest in late 2004. She pleaded guilty to the charge in summer 2005, receiving community service, probation and a stint in alcohol rehab. She was rehired in late 2007. She seems to have been a hot mess since then. Porsche, for your sake girl, I hope the trail doesn’t lead to you.
