Joaquin Phoenix, Wannabe Rapper, in Fight with Heckler at Concert at a Miami Club

Could someone please tell Joaquin Phoenix that he cannot rap nor can pass himself off as a hip-hop star without a serious suppression of giggles on our part. He needs to go back to Hollywood or find a cause and make himself busy. We don’t need another wannabe in our midst. He was reportedly involved in a huge brawl while performing at a Miami night club last night, wrestling a heckler to the ground before being dragged off by security.

The wannabe rapper reportedly jumped off the stage mid-way through his appearance to confront the mouthy audience member. An enraged Joaquin announced: “We have a f***ing b**** in the audience. Nodding his head while rapping to the “beat,” he told the man: “I’ve got $1million in the bank. What have you got b****?”

Sources said that Phoenix arrived four hours late for the gig at the LIV night club in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel and then launched himself into the crowd. The crowd chanted “beat him up, beat him up” as Joaquin got stuck in. The star, who has previously battled alcohol, has prompted concerns for his well-being since announcing his retirement from acting in October. You will recall that he made a disastrous hip-hop debut in Las Vegas in January where he performed three tracks before falling off stage. Joaquin, walk the line, away from Hip-Hop and rapping because you are HORRIBLE. For God’s sake, clean yourself up. You look like a bum.

Joaquin Phoenix Appearance on the David Letterman Show was Unsettling

Is it me or is this video of Joaquin Phoenix’ visit on David Letterman weird? He appears stunned, bored and grumpy all rolled into one. For whatever reason, he obviously did not want to be there on the show.

He was, I guess, attempting to promote his new film “Two Lovers,” but he refused to participate as Letterman tried to pull him out of what he must think is a drug stupor. He mumbled that he has not even watched his own movie and refused to set up the video promotion that Letterman is willing to show the audience.

Personally, he looked totally ridiculous. He came out with mysterious sunglasses and a dirty beard like a Blues Brothers caricature. Letterman began by asking Phoenix about his beard, a question the actor said makes him “feel weird.” All down hill from there.

Well, this is weird and what’s funny is that there are folks who continue to put people like Joaquin Phoenix on a pedestal.
