Cindy "Brainiac" McCain Says Sarah Palin has National Security Experience because Alaska Close to Russia

I almost fell off my chair when I read about Cindy “Brainiac” McCain’s comments about Sarah Palin’s national security experience. Her comments come on the heels of a ridiculous statement by Fox News morning host, Steve Doocy, who testified to Sarah Palin’s national security experience by saying that her state, Alaska, was so close to Russia. I guess Cindy McCain is dumber than I thought or she gets her talking points from those idiots at Fox News. This morning, on ABC in an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Cindy McCain endorsed this very view. She was asked about Palin’s national security experience and she could not come up with anything beyond the fact that, after all, her state is right next to Russia. “You know, the experience that she comes from is, what she has done in government — and remember that Alaska is the closest part of our continent to Russia.”Let me go out on a limb here….what the hell does that comment mean? So, because Alaska is close to Russia, that has made her an expert on national security? That is so ridiculous and it shows that the McCain camp has no concept of what this woman will bring to the ticket other than making the social conservatives and evangelicals happy.

She added that Palin has “was more experience than….” but Stephanopoulos cut her off before she could say, for example, “Barack Obama” or maybe “others give her credit for.”Earlier, she said that Palin was “heavily experienced” in general, citing her going from the PTA to mayor to governor — and having a son headed for Iraq. She actually said that she started her political career at the PTA “like everybody else.” She also said she met her just before Palin’s meeting with McCain on Thursday and came away impressed that she too was a “reformer.”So, for all parents out there who are actively involved with the PTA, the mayor’s office is next for you and then a stab at the White House. What a bunch of morons. This is who they want people to vote for? You would never hear this crap coming out of Michelle Obama’s mouth. At least we hope so.

Of course, Palin put her foot in her mouth in an interview with the Anchorage Daily News. Reporter, Kyle Hopkins, asked, “Are you ready to be President Palin if necessary?””I am … I am up to the task, of course, of focusing on the challenges that face America,” she answered, and that was all she could say on her behalf on this question. Then she abruptly shifted to how her candidacy would help Alaska. “And I am very pleased with the situation that I am in, when, when you consider the situation now that Alaska will be in.”And that is Alaska, and Alaskans will be allowed to contribute more to our great country and they’ll be allowed to do that because I — if we’re elected — will be in a position of opening the eyes of the country to what it is that Alaska is all about and what Alaska has to offer. So, I am happy to and very honored to be asked to do this. I know it’s going to be great for Alaska.” People, that was a load of crap!

There is hope for all PTA presidents, you too can become a vice presidential candidate. Take a look at the city hall for Wasilla. I live in a small town and our city hall does not look like a store front. Talk about Cinderella hitting pay dirt!

Gov. Sarah Palin’s Mother-In-Law Faye Palin has Doubts about her Being VP, Says She Enjoys Hearing Barack Obama

Dang, even Sarah Palin’s mother-in-law, Faye Palin, has doubts about her being a vice president. She said that she enjoys hearing Barack Obama speak and still has not decided which way she will vote. I guess she just made some her son mad. “We don’t agree on everything. But I respect her passion,” she said. “Being pro-life is who Sarah is.”

Faye Palin said the entire family was shocked by the news on Friday. “I’m not sure what she brings to the ticket other than she’s a woman and a conservative. Well, she’s a better speaker than McCain,” Faye Palin said with a laugh. “People will say she hasn’t been on the national scene long enough. But I believe she’s a quick study.”

She said people doubted Sarah Palin when she ran for City Council, but that her daughter-in-law had a “singular focus.” “She was out there with [then-young son] Track, pulling him around from house to house in a wagon,” she said.

Sarah Palin is well known as a former high school basketball star, cross-country runner, beauty queen, hockey mom, city council member and Wasilla’s mayor from 1996 to 2007. I guess, anyone from who was mayor of a town with 6,715 people or less, a former beauty queen, eats moose burgers, into hiking to work while supposedly pregnant, under legislative investigation, there’s hope for you to become a vice president.

More Drama Follows Sarah Palin, McCain’s Vice Presidential Candidate

There is more drama surrounding Sarah Palin. I recently read on MediaTakeOut.com and Sagacious Ramblings that there is a rumor circulating about Mrs. Palin 5th pregnancy and who the child’s mother really is. This is all rather interesting and if true, this spells serious doom for John McCain’s chances to become the next president of the United States. All I can say is that the truth will come out real soon.

Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska, Reportedly John McCain’s Running Mate

CNN is reporting that Governor Sarah Palin, 44, first term governor, is John McCain’s running mate. This will make for a very interesting vice presidential debate. She has a record of change, but didn’t John McCain and company say that Barack Obama has very little experience? Well, what can we say about Ms. Palin? This is troubling on so many levels. She has been in office for two years. At least Barack Obama has been in politics for some time. This makes McCain seem petty and a flip-flopper. The McCain camp has literally tried to railroad Barack Obama on his experience. At 72, he chooses a 44-year old as his running mate. Well, I don’t want to be too bold, but my vote is on the Obama-Biden ticket. I don’t think this will affect women voters because they don’t know who this woman is. This helps him very little with disaffected women voters who supported Hillary Clinton.

Let me also add, that Mrs. Palin is under legislative investigation in her state. More to come on this pick! What will her role be? With such a thin resume, as well as being the mother of a four-month baby with Down’s Syndrome, who will need a lot of attention, this tells me she will be a passive VP, should they prevail in the Fall. The only thing I can say about her that I like is the fact that in the face of adversity, being told her baby had Down’s Syndrome, she chose to have her baby. That’s admirable because many people would choose to terminate the pregnancy, so my hats off to her.

What is her background? Nobody knows. At least we know where Joe Biden stands. He will clean the floor up with her during the debates. Not because she is a woman, but because she has NO EXPERIENCE.

Robert Paxton, President of Iowa Central Community College Resigns After Pictures of Keg Party Revealed

photo

Another educator in the news for all the wrong reasons. This time it comes to us courtesy of Iowa Central Community College President Robert Paxton, who will collect $400,000 from the school in return for his resignation. Even though the school’s board of trustees did not get a chance to discuss the personnel matter that led to his resignation, a photograph of Paxton was published in the Des Moines Register showing him aboard a boat with a group of young people, holding the spigot of a small beer keg suspended over the open mouth of a young woman.

When questioned by the Register, Paxton initially denied knowing anything about the photo or any recent boat outings with young people. After being told that College trustee Mark Crimmins had already informed the Register that he had seen the photo and the two men had discussed it, Paxton acknowledged the photo’s authenticity. He said he had done nothing illegal or improper.

At today’s board meeting, the trustees met for eight minutes and agreed, without discussion, to accept Paxton’s resignation and approve a compensation package for him. The deal calls for Paxton to receive $200,000 in January 2009 and $200,000 in January 20. Trustee Larry Hecht said the board felt the compensation package was fair to all parties.“The thing we struggled with was whether his personal life was, you know, his,” he said. “I think we all thought that was true. On the other hand, his position — I guess what you do in your personal life does affect the public’s perception of what you do on the job.” Hello! A college president cavorting like a 20-something is not the picture we all want to see.

Paxton, 52, has said all of the people who were drinking in the boat when the photograph was taken were of legal age. He said the beer keg was broken and wasn’t dispensing beer into the young woman’s mouth. He said his 19-year-old son, who was arrested for second-offense drunken driving early the next morning, was in the boat but was not drinking. Gee, I wonder how he got drunk?

Paxton isn’t new to scandal. In fact, according to Des Moines Register, in 2002 he was indicted on charges of felonious misconduct in office, falsification of public records and tampering with public records. The charges grew out of an investigation into student athletes being awarded false grades. Three of Paxton’s colleagues at Iowa Central eventually pleaded guilty to charges they tampered with student records to benefit the athletes and to deceive others. All three men retained their jobs at the school. The charges against Paxton were deferred under an agreement in which he accepted responsibility for the transcript fraud. He should have been terminated then and the school would have avoided this latest scandal. What a role model!

‘Bling Bandit’ Athelston Kelson, Former NYPD Detective Surrenders on Charges of Robbing Nine NY Banks at Gunpoint

During my perusal of the morning papers online, I came across a story in the NY Daily News that I wish to share with my readers. You see, this scumbag, known as the “Bling Bandit,” who has robbed seven banks on Long Island and two in Queens, is an ex-cop. This dirtbag, retired NYPD Detective Athelston Kelson, 59, surrendered to his lawyer on charges of robbing banks at gunpoint while wearing flashy rings and a gold watch. According to the NY Daily News, Kelson was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer shortly after he retired in 2005, and sources said his spree may have been an attempt to commit suicide by cop.”He didn’t hide who he was,” a police source said. “He didn’t wear gloves or cover his face. He was begging to be recognized and caught.”

Here’s the shameful part, after earning a Purple Heart in Vietnam, he joined the NYPD in 1972 and made his name going undercover to infiltrate the Black Panthers and investigate JoAnne Chesimard, the Black Liberation Army leader and convicted cop-killer who escaped from prison in 1979 and lives in Cuba.“He was a Vietnam War hero. He served … with the NYPD in some of the most dangerous and prestigious assignments,” said Michael Palladino, president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association. “He was also one of the most caring and effective union reps we had.”The man was viewed as a hero cop by many of his colleagues, then why would he have stooped so low and for what? To spend the rest of his life in prison?

According to the Daily News, wearing dark shades and a baseball hat, Kelson, who drives a Porsche (I wonder how he got that?), walked into banks and wrote his demands on the backs of deposit slips. After patiently waiting in line, he handed the note to the teller, requesting the loot be stuffed in an envelope.Twice, he flashed a semi-automatic handgun during his heists, police said.

The police said that he first struck on June 12th at a Chase Bank in Elmont and has hit banks in Queens, Valley Stream, Franklin Square, New Hyde Park, and most recently on Tuesday, West Hempstead.

Oh, so I guess the cancer made him do it? Crazy. He deserves to rot in prison. There goes all the good he did while he was a police officer.

Derek Black, Son of Racist Don Black Wins Seat on Palm Beach County Executive Committee, Only to be Kicked Off

The Chloe Black racist connection rears its ugly head again. This was the woman who served as an administrator at a school for blacks and Latino kids in Florida. Well, another family member has joined the fray. Derek Black, the son of Chloe Black’s husband, former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, Don Black, caused some controversy in the GOP. On Tuesday, he easily won a seat on the Republican Executive Committee in Palm Beach County. The committee kicked him off yesterday based on his family’s notorious racial hatred past.

“Well, I don’t know why he wants us,” said Chairman Sid Dinerstein. “But for sure we don’t want him, and we’re not going to have him.”Black’s father, Don, runs the racial hate Web site StormFront. The Web site is run out of a West Palm Beach house, where Derek, Don and Chloe Black live. Chloe Black is the former wife of white supremacist politician David Duke. Dinerstein said as soon as the committee realized who the Blacks were, it disqualified Derek Black because the committee said he hadn’t signed the party’s loyalty oath. The oath, according to Dinerstein, said members won’t engage in any activities that might be injurious to the Republican Party.

Derek Black said he’s not a Klansman. But, according to ABC affiliate, WPBF-TV, when he was 12 years old, USA Today did a feature story about how he wrote a children’s page for his father’s Web site. It was unclear whether Derek Black was still working with his father on the Web site.

These people have been in the news lately, but the committee did the right thing. There is no room for such racial bigotry in any organization that represents the public. These people are nuts, if they think any decent person would sit by and let them sink their hooks into our society and try to effect change without a fight. The young man says that he is not racist, but yet he cannot identify one ideological difference between his father and the KKK. So, in my opinion, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck. These people have no place in elected office to make decisions that could affect all races. I don’t care how seemingly insignificant the office is, they have no business trying to effect any change.

Alabama State Senator Charles Bishop Cozying Up to Racist Council for Conservative Citizens

Funny how we can’t see to get back racist views in this country and the presidential elections have seemingly embolden those scumbags to rear their ugly heads. The Council for Conservative Citizens was denounced in 1998 by Republican National Committee Chairman Jim Nicholson for its “racist views”has had an increasingly difficult time attracting politicians and other mainstream figures. All decent lawmakers with any sense of dignity and integrity would not be caught associated with this group. It’s pretty hard to publicly justify working with a group that has described black people as a “retrograde species of humanity” who are “genetically inferior,” and has accused dark-skinned immigrants of turning America into a “slimy brown mass of glop,” and named Lester Maddox, the now deceased baseball bat-wielding, arch-segregationist former governor of Georgia, “Patriot of the Century.”

Enter Alabama State Senator Charles Bishop (R-Jasper). This June 21, he gave the keynote speech to a CCC “leadership conference” in Alabama, where he denounced any apology for slavery and drew a standing ovation. Bishop rose to national infamy last year when he punched state Sen. Lowell Barron (D-Fyffe) in the face during the last day of the legislative session. He also told his audience that he regretted attacking Barron on the Senate floor: “I should have taken him outside and kicked the hell out of him.” Yep, a throwback to the Jim Crow era.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, also in June, the CCC advertised in the Las Vegas Review-Journal that it was “co-hosting” a strategy session with Americans4America, the Las Vegas chapter of Jim Gilchrist’s Minuteman Project — an anti-immigration group that expressly claims that it will not countenance or work with racists (Gilchrist also recently denounced violence in nativist groups). The meeting took place June 24, providing some of the strongest evidence yet of racism in the nativist movement.

A little background on Charles Bishop:

  • Represents the 5th District, which includes Jefferson, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston;
  • Elected to his third term in Alabama Senate, November 7, 2006
  • Born in Moro, Arkansas
  • President, CEO of B&D Industrial Mining and Services in Jasper

Make no mistake, Barack Obama’s accomplishment has riled these white supremacist morons to no end, but that’s okay. We are ready to go toe to toe with them this time. This isn’t the 1950s nor the 1960s. They are dealing with a whole different ilk of Americans who won’t tolerate such overt bigotry. To all the people in State Senator Charles Bishop’s district, you need to know that you have a racist representing you and that is certainly not what we need in office.

Fake $3 Bill With Barack Obama in Muslim Headdress Being Sold at GOP Booth at State Fair

This is totally preposterous and insulting. The latest smear campaign against Barack Obama comes courtesy of a $3 bill that has both Democrats and Republicans talking. The controversial bill features Barack Obama wearing a headdress, propelling a widespread myth that he’s Muslim. Some people find it funny, but I think it is insulting and totally ridiculous.

According to KOMO News, Carol Ronken found the bill at the Evergreen State Fair’s Republican Party booth.”It’s racist. It’s disgusting,” she said.

On the bill the words “da man” are printed under his face, perpetuating the myth. Obama is, in fact, a Christian.”To make money on top of it even makes it worse,” Ronken said. “They weren’t giving it way; they were selling it for $3.” Republican county chair Geri Modrell says she never approved the bill.”It’s not the policy of this party to use this low-level of humor,” she said. “Somebody thought it was funny. Somebody thought it was funny, that’s all,” she said. Modrell says she’s working to track down the person responsible, but says she doesn’t plan to conduct an extensive investigation. She says it’s tough enough to recruit volunteers and she doesn’t want to alienate another. I’d say, don’t hold your breath, the truth will never come to light.

Those bills are no longer being sold at the fair, but they’re available from several sources on the Internet. One Web site is even selling a pack of 25 for $5. Simply reprehensible.

NY Parks Workers Nick Johnson, Charlie Ekonomakos, Chris Mullusky Accused of Anti-Semitic Taunts Of Alan Spitalnik

I write very extensively about racism against blacks, but I was taken aback by an article in the New York Daily News that states a Jewish Parks Department truck driver, Alan Spitalnik, claims he was subjected to anti-Semitic taunts by co-workers who put on a hateful skit in Nazi regalia, the Daily News has learned.

The department is investigating the allegations and said the employees accused of taking part in the Hitler parody at a Staten Island parkhouse may be disciplined. According to the NY Daily News, Alan Spitalnik said he walked into a break room last Wednesday to see three tree pruners putting on the tasteless show for eight other workers. “They just burst out laughing,” one source said.

Two sources identified the employees as Nick Johnson, who allegedly wore a motorcycle helmet emblazoned with a swastika; Charlie Ekonomakos, said to have sported a Hitler-style mustache, and Chris Mullusky, described as wielding a flaming aerosol can.

A representative from the Parks Department’s equal employment opportunity office visited the Forestry Division’s Staten Island headquarters last Friday and questioned the skit participants and witnesses.”He gave us all a tongue-lashing … he said that this is unacceptable,” one source said. “[He said], ‘If I had it my way, they would be fired on the spot.'”

Spitalnik was upset that after he complained he was transferred out of the Forestry Division against his wishes for safety reasons. He told a fellow employee he feels like he’s being punished for the incident.

Earlier this summer, Spitalnik complained to supervisors that Mullusky told him he’d like to shove him and his mother in a microwave oven. A source said no action was taken. After he walked in on the skit, the three men apologized to Spitalnik. “They said, ‘I’m sorry, it was a joke,'” one of the sources said.

If these allegations are proven to be true, these men need to be disciplined severely. This incident is no different from scumbags hanging nooses or writing racist graffiti to taunt blacks. This insensitivity should not be condoned on any level. Just my thoughts, you be the judge…..
